• When ready, we will check your dentures for fit and comfort, and offer a follow-up appointment to make sure you continue to be happy with your new teeth.

After fitting

It may take a little while to get used eating with your dentures, so it’s best to start with softer foods and gradually introduce harder items. Also you may experience an increase in the flow of saliva but this should soon ease off. If your speech is affected, try practising talking out loud and it will soon go back to normal.

Dentures can be taken out, so you can clean them thoroughly with a toothbrush and give your gums a rest while you sleep.
