If we see you regularly, we can keep an eye on your oral health and ensure problems are spotted early before they get any worse.
During a routine check-up, we will examine and assess your teeth, gums and mouth, looking for signs of:
We will also ask you if you have had any problems since your last visit and offer advice about your diet, as well as your alcohol and tobacco use. And so you can continue to keep your mouth healthy at home, we will teach you effective teeth cleaning techniques.
If we do find anything that requires treatment, we will advise you on the best course of action and devise an appropriate treatment plan, including expected costs.
Your dentist will let you know when you need to come and see us for your next check-up – this will not necessarily be every six months, it may be more or less frequently, depending on the state of your oral health.
If you have any problems with your teeth between check-ups please call us to make an earlier appointment.
